The spa "Bibione Thermae" is situated in an old pine-forest in front of the Adriatic coast. It has been studied accurately in order to exploit the therapeutical properties of the thermal waters (52°C) which gush in the hinterland of Bibione. According to the physical-chemical analysis these waters have been classified as "hyperthermal", alkaline, bicarbonate-sodium-fluorine waters".
Their properties an the therapeutical effestiveness of the treatments of "Bibione Thermae" have been officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Health. In the Spa it is possible to find the following treatments and activities.

THE SPA-TREATMENTS AGAINST ALL RHEUMATICAL DISEASED
The spa-treatments have obtained good results against rheumatical diseases and most of the diseases of the locomotor apparatus.

The mud bath treatment
Thanks to the high temperature of the thermal water and its quantity of minerals the mud bath treatment is a sort of thermotherapy which has a healthy effect for the whole body to treat almost all diseases of the locomotor apparatus.

The balneotherapy
The therapeutical efestiveness of this therapy depends on two things, one is the the temperatureand the other the minerals of the thermal water. The temperature fluctuates between 33° and 39°C.

The curative gallery
This reatment consists of staying in a sweating-gallery, which has got a high temperature (between 45 and 48°C) and a very high humidity, near to the saturation of vapour. The client usually stays in the gallery between 15 and 25 minutes and his sweating reaction can be much stronger than by mud bath treatment.

THE SPA-TREATMENTS THROUGH INHALATIONS AGAINTS DISEASES OF THE EAR, NOSE AND THROAT
These treatments consist of introducing very small particles of thermal water in the ear, nose and throat using different methods. The most important diseases you can treat by the spa are various bronchial diseases such as bronchial asthma and all types of allergies.
