When was Parco Zoo Punta Verde founded?
Parco Zoo Punta Verde was founded in 1979, in the northern part of the Lignano Riviera tourist area, on the left bank of the Tagliamento River, in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Surveyor Sergio Rodeano, passionate about transforming the area into a nursery of local plant species, aimed to restore an ecological and environmental function to the site. Over time, the project evolved into an educational and environmentally conscious facility.

Parco Zoo Punta Verde has several different objectives:
