Amon Amarth, a Swedish band that has won fans year after year thanks to a proposal made of uncompromising melodic death metal and themes related to Norse mythology, will arrive in Lignano Sabbiadoro. The band, led by the voice of Johan Hegg, will exceptionally be in Italy for one exclusive concert scheduled for August 19, 2024, at the Alpe Adria Arena in Lignano Sabbiadoro, the first international name of the Lignano Sunset Festival.
Not a simple concert, the one on August 19, but a real happening dedicated to the metal genre. Before Amon Amarth there will be two special guests who will take the stage at the Alpe Adria Arena. Warming up the audience from 7 p.m. will be Finnish band Insomnium, and even before that, space will be given to Kanonenfieber, a German band on the rise in the international black/death metal underground.
Tickets for the event, organized by Zenit srt, in collaboration with City of Lignano Sabbiadoro, Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and PromoTurismoFVG, will be on presale for Metalitalia.com members until 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, and on general sale on the Ticketone.it circuit from 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8.
