On Sunday, 20 September 2026, at 6:00 pm, the evocative Bibione Lighthouse will host “Blind Concert – The Notes of the Invisible”, a musical event designed to offer a different way of experiencing music while raising awareness about visual disabilities.
The initiative is part of the Social and Inclusive Tourism Project and places listening at the heart of the experience. During the performance by Mauro Costantini on piano and Francesco Minutello on trumpet, sighted members of the audience will be invited to wear a blindfold, allowing the music and other senses to take centre stage. The programme will move between jazz, classical music and moments of improvisation.
The concert will be preceded by a short institutional moment dedicated to the social and inclusive tourism activities carried out in Bibione throughout the year.
Reaching Bibione Lighthouse by bike
For the occasion, Bikeezy will also organise a special “Riding in the Dark” guided bike ride, an inclusive experience open to people with visual disabilities as well, including blind and visually impaired participants accompanied on tandem bicycles. Departure is scheduled from Bibione Thermae at 4:00 pm, with meeting time at 3:30 pm, arriving at the lighthouse in time for the concert.
Participation in the bike ride requires advance booking.
Free transport service for people with disabilities
To make the event more accessible, the Municipality of San Michele al Tagliamento will provide a free transport service for people with disabilities, departing from the Bibione Tourist Information Office in Via Maja 84. Departure times will be arranged according to the number of requests received.
Places are limited and advance booking is required by contacting the Tourist Information Office on +39 0431 444846 or by email at iat@comunesanmichele.it.
