FootBike Driver Project

A sporting event in the name of inclusion and complete accessibility. Through this project, sport and culture can merge, under the banner of inclusion and complete accessibility.

DAYS 22nd-23rd OCTOBER 2022 from 09:00 to 18:00:
• CONFERENCE: Sport, Tourism, Inclusion, Sustainability
• SPRINT RACES {100-200-400-800MT) valid for the Italian AICS + Eurocup Championship
• MEDIUM and LONG DISTANCE RACES {10K-21K) valid for the Italian Championship AiCS + Eurocup
• Guided footbike tours, open to the public, throughout the event

The Footbike is suitable for the peculiarities of children with autism:
• you can train safely, without taking risks
• can socialize
• are involved in a recreational-competitive commitment
• can achieve concrete goals in equal competition with all their peers

Through this project, as part of the partnership between FIFB (Italian Footbike Federation) and AICS, we intend to promote the practice of this sport by children with autism, integrating the presence of children with autism, thus removing at the source the idea of ​​separate sports courses and competitions from those organized for children without disabilities and breaking down social barriers.
