Inauguration of Bibione's lighthouse

The inauguration ceremony of Bibione's lighthouse, symbol of the seaside resort, will take place on Friday 19th June 2015 at 6.30pm after the recent initial renovation works.
There has been careful restoration, flooring and decorating, the fence has been fixed and new services have been introduced as well as a small exhibition space.
"The works, which were completed a few days ago, allowed us to redevelop an important building located in a unique and striking location, thanks to the contribution of the PSL-Leader programme" said Councillor Luca Marchesan, responsible for Public Works. “A special thanks goes to the various Bodies which contributed to the works. Our hope is that, thanks to these works, the lighthouse can become another attraction for tourists interested in eco-sustainability."
Please note that the lighthouse can only be reached on foot or by bike.
