La Dogaressa - Exhibition

The Palazzo Vescovile (Bishop’s Palace) of Portogruaro is pleased to present a fascinating journey through centuries and Venetian history with the extraordinary exhibition "La Dogaressa tra storia e mito. Venetian femininity from the Middle Ages to the 20th century" which will be held from Dec. 16, 2023 to May 19, 2024.

This unique exhibition highlights the figure of the Dogaressa, the consort of the Venetian doge, giving her the recognition she deserves as a true "First Lady ante litteram."
