LuMe - Stories of light and memories

The lighthouse is told in an exhibition that will be entirely dedicated to the events of the protagonists of its history.
Images and voices from the past. Memories of ordinary care of the lantern of light, of family gatherings and new loves that blossomed in the shadow of the tower, of wars and cannon shots.

A choral story, with several voices, thanks to the precious autobiographical testimonies and the photographs collected.
From Tuesday 14th June until Saturday 2nd October 2022 from 08:00 following the opening hours of the area inside the lighthouse.

The LuMe project was born in 2019 with the aim of protecting and preserving the memory of the Punta Tagliamento Lighthouse in Bibione. It is the result of a vigorous research work that has allowed the collection of unpublished autobiographical material, thanks to oral testimonies and photographs of the lighthouse’s lighthouse’s lighthouse’s lighthouse sailors and their families.
