Portogruaro International Music Festival 2026

From August 26 to September 16, 2026, the Portogruaro International Music Festival returns—one of the most prestigious events dedicated to classical music in northeastern Italy. Now in its 44th edition and directed by pianist Alessandro Taverna, the Festival offers a rich program of concerts, talks, and masterclasses featuring internationally renowned artists.

Organized by the Santa Cecilia Music Foundation, the Festival has been a point of reference for musicians, students, and music lovers for over forty years, combining a prestigious concert program with significant educational activities. Alongside the concerts, masterclasses are held by world-class instructors, offering young talents opportunities for study and artistic growth.

The events take place in Portogruaro’s most evocative locations, including the Luigi Russolo Municipal Theater, Piazza della Repubblica, churches, historic palaces, and other iconic sites of the city, creating a unique blend of music, art, and cultural heritage.
