Septemberfest 2015

 A toast to wine and grapes at Septemberfest -  from 9th to 10th September 2015

It is the quintessential wine and grape festival. “Septemberfest” on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 September will bring to an end the big season of summer events in Bibione and attract thousands of enthusiasts to the coast. Over the two days, visitors will be able to enjoy music and entertainment while tasting the finest food and wine that Bibione has to offer.
The two days will be packed with fun, celebrations and above all tastings of the finest local wine and food. “Septemberfest” is the biggest food and wine event in the area. It was launched in 1983 for clients of Bibione’s agencies at the customary time for the grape harvest and it has been open to the general public since 2008.

It offers visitors a chance to sample Lison-Pramaggiore wines and savour the rich bouquet of the finest wine-making traditions of the northern Venice area. From 7.00 pm, the numerous stands in Piazzale Zenith will start to offer their wares to tourists and other visitors. The wines will be paired with traditional local food, with everything from bread and cheese to confectionery and fruit preserves. As always, the end of the two-day event will be marked with a fireworks display, as Bibione says goodbye to the summer and looks forward to seeing everyone again in 2016.
