The Christmas markets 2015

Christmas is the time of the year we all are waiting the most, keen to live the Christmas’ atmosphere and to share this joyful event with our family and friends.

In the nearby Lignano Sabbiadoro, as every year, will be staged the Sand Crib, very suggestive, in addition to skating rink and traditional Christmas markets.

From Marghera Carpenedo there will be many events dedicated to musical groups in addition to the classic carousels for children throughout the month of December.

For the Christmas markets’ lovers and people willing to discover new and unconventional destinations, different from the usual Trentino Alto-Adige, the city of Trieste offers 2 unmissable dates.
The region capital of Friuli Venezia Giulia, awaits for you from the 8^th till the 24^th of December, in Sant’Antonio Square with stand of handcraft’s products, food specialties of Italy, Austria and Germany, sweets and candies for all the children.
XX Settembre Street hosts from the 1^st till the 8^th December the historic market of San Nicolò local Fair, and its more than an hundred gazebos.
Not to be missed is the medieval celebration, full of artists, jugglers and fire-eaters, who will certainly make young and old alike have a great fun.
But the protagonist will for sure be San Nicolò, with plenty of  delicious sweets to give to all the little attendees who will be present there…but try not to forget your own sock!

The VI edition of the Christmas market of Castelbrando, in Cison di Valmarino (TV), is the perfect opportunity to get in touch with the typical and local handcraft world, with an evocative location as background: the medieval village and castle, situated in the slope of the Castello mountain. The fair will take place inside the Tenda Theater level 7, the weekend from the 5th to the 8th of december and the 12th and 13th of december 2015. The stand will be open from 10:00 in the morning till 20:00 in the evevìning and the entrance will be free. Every afternoon you can take part of many events tought for both, adults and children, such as the singing Santa Claus and several shows. Moreover, sunday the 6th, monday 7th and sunday 13th, it will be possible to do a guided tour of the castle, or to have a lokk to the beautiful landscape, while being comfortably seated inside a coach.

The Christmas markets of Sacile (PN) are not to be missed! They will occur from the 27th of november to the 6th january 2016. The stands will be open from 10:00 till 15:00, and then in the evening from 20:00 till 24:00. The Christmas market will take place in the internal yard of Palazzo Ragazzoni and in the Ortazza's gardens, with more than 50 typical wooden booths,where you can find a great variety of objects, gift ideas and naturally traditional Christmas' products. For gluttons there will be stand with delicacies from FVG, traditional dishes and and wine tasting. There won't lack amusaments with dances, musics, nativity scenes with courtyard animals and attractions for children such as carousels, a little train and obviously Santa Claus in person. In addition to the Christmas market, you can have a walk in the city center, do some shopping in the many stores that will be open for the whole duration of the event, or you can discover the wonders of Sacile, nicknamed "The Garden of Serenissima", which stands out from two island of the Livenza river, and which is full of venetian influences. To conclude, you can spend your evening in the catering stands, which will keep open even after midnight, and where you can always listen to some good live music, drinking an hot cup of mulled wine.
