Villaggio del Gusto
This year, between Via Tolmezzo and Parco San Giovanni Bosco, the Villaggio del Gusto is ready to surprise you with an irresistible gastronomic offer!
The typical Christmas huts offer Friulian dishes and international delicacies, such as hot sandwiches, artisan desserts, mixed fried food and quality street food, all accompanied by craft beers, hot chocolate and mulled wine. A perfect place to share tastes and traditions in good company.
Other huts will be dedicated to local handicrafts, an excellent opportunity to buy some gifts for the upcoming holidays.
Circular Skating Rink
In Piazza Fontana, you will find the largest circular ice skating rink in the North-East, covering an impressive 500 square metres of ice. The rink surrounds the majestic 15-metre Christmas tree that stands in the square. An experience that brings the joy of the festive season to life in a fairytale atmosphere.
Santa Claus Village
In San Giovanni Bosco Park, a magical place comes to life, populated by Santa Claus and his cheerful elves, ready to welcome children.
The heart of the Village is Santa Claus’s house, where young visitors can deliver their letters with their wishes. Around the house, immersed in the festively decorated and illuminated park, there is a historic carousel, other rides for children, stalls selling sweets and numerous initiatives and attractions that make the atmosphere even more special.
Sand Nativity Scene
The wonderful Sand Nativity Scene returns to beach office no. 6 in Lignano Sabbiadoro, open to visitors from 6 December 2025.
As every year, the event attracts thousands of visitors from all over Europe to admire the spectacular sand sculptures dedicated to Christmas and the Nativity.
Created by the Dome Aghe Savalon d’Aur Association in collaboration with the Accademia della Sabbia, the nativity scene is the result of the work of artists from all over Italy. The works, created exclusively with sand and water, without glue or additives, are modelled and compacted with great skill to ensure stability and durability.
Lignano Express
There is no better way to admire the magic of Christmas in Lignano than by hopping on the characteristic tourist train! This year, the route has been extended, connecting the Christmas area of Lignano Sabbiadoro with the new festive area of Piazza del Sole in Lignano Pineta.
The service is completely free and makes two stops: in Sabbiadoro, on Lungomare Trieste at Beach Office No. 6, opposite the Sand Nativity Scene, and in Pineta, in Piazza del Sole.
